Jesus came into Jerusalem the week before his crucifixion as a triumphant King. But the triumph of King Jesus was not by force, but by love. The message of the King was one not of temporal peace, but of peace with God. And the children of the King must choose not to be ruled by the world, but by the King of kings, the Lord Jesus.
