Peter describes those who belong to the Lord as foreigners & exiles - this is not our home! Living hope keeps our heavenly citizenship in view. As citizens of heaven, we must ensure our desires do not war against our souls, that we make God's glory our goal, that our earthly citizenship should reflect our heavenly citizenship, and that we make Christ our model.
